SilverStar helps Soldiers make informed career decisions through counseling and employment assistance, building upon lessons learned in the Initial and Service phases of the Soldier Life Cycle.

Deque Systems, Section 508 Helpdesk Support

SilverStar provides technical support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through a subcontract to Deque Systems. SilverStar is providing Section 508 Helpdesk support and assesses web-based Information Communication Technology (ICT) for accessibility issues, using automated software as well as manual testing techniques. We review issues found and offer potential remediation techniques for the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), which provides benefits and services to Veterans of the United States.

SilverStar has comprehensive knowledge of all provisions of the Section 508 standards and applying these standards to complex electronic and information technology (EIT) projects throughout the life-cycle.

Veros Real Estate Solutions, Computer-based Training

SilverStar, working with Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros), the prime contractor, planned, designed, and implemented a self-paced computer-based training for the Federal Housing Administration Electronic Appraisal Data Portal (EADP). SilverStar identified the target audiences, defined training outcomes, defined the scope of the training, and identified where and how the training will be housed. SilverStar developed the design elements of the portal, developed a storyboard for the training course, and developed a media log and media elements. SilverStar’s Instructional Systems Designer works closely with EADP subject matter experts.

SilverStar uses ADDIE methodology to design, develop, and evaluate training. The ADDIE model is a systematic instructional design model consisting of five phases: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation.
